I have just carried out a combi swap in Oxton. I took out a very tired old Worcester 240 that had been installed around 1995/6. I lifted the new boiler about 1000mm higher than the original position to aid future maintenance, it means abit more work but in the long run its a better job all round.
This boiler was well out of the way of any drain point to put the condensate drain of pipe so i fitted a condensate drain pump which works like a dream .
Its quite a small boiler size wise for a 30 kw. I was a bit disapointed with the flow rate of around 11lt per minute. Other than that its a good buy, still quite a new model so i dont know yet what its like in terms of reliability.

I recommend the Ravenheat CSI 85 b / a. Condensing Combi

It has a 2 or 3 year parts and labour waranty on the boiler
Fitting a Condensing Boiler will save you money

The cost of gas is very expensive. It makes good financial sense to be as fuel efficient as possible.
Energy efficient controls

Update your heating control
